Opening Letter of Welcome from Michael Kaplan

Dear Friends,

Since I extended my first open letter of welcome to you all back in September of 2005 a great deal of water has gone under the bridge.
In that time almost 400 000 visits have been made to our New Market Place and more importantly we are currently finding more than a thousand new homes each year for exciting Military Collectables which have passed through our hands…..and this figure continues to climb.

One thing on which I am really pleased to report is that we have had a minimum in the way of dissatisfaction. To my knowledge only on one occasion did, in this case, a wrong Zimbabwe Independence Medal go out to a client, but that was put to rights by Carl du Toit immediately.

David Lonsdale, ‘Lonners’, “The Quartermaster”, continues…..now in his 70th year…..to load items with his detailed enthusiasm. He is now living within ten blocks of Head Office which makes for better admin all round.

You will note the changes to the Website format. We are now using the Joomla system, which offers for all concerned many more and better facilities. Even we are learning, as we go along, about further services that we can pass on to you, our clients.

When we started we offered you the opportunity to sell via The AMC but have found that you prefer to use our Quarterly Auction Facility for this instead. Please click on AUCTIONS above for further info.

Again David has set out the ‘Nuts and Bolts’ of ‘HOW WE OPERATE’…..which is even MORE SIMPLE than before.
