As Michael pointed out to me...This was a small but important Unit which did excellent service during the war.

The Belt is Size 32.

Unfortunately we do not have the whole Stable Belt present here but at least we can offer this very nice Buckle which incorporates their SPECIAL FORCES Cap Badge. "Quartermaster's Comment":- I did not pick up this actual Buckle in Colin Owen's Book but the Badge herein is identical to that as shown as Colin Owen's No. 3965. Please also refer to Mike Evert's Book on the Parachute Wings and Special Forces Insignia of Southern Africa. He writes them up nicely on Page 66. See other listings for Cap Badge and Flash.

We are NOT getting these items in the way we did ten years back!!! "Quartermaster's Comment":- One of the Greatest Regiments ever.....no more to say. Looking at the waist measurement....not the biggest lad in the Army.....but as Ian Smith said...."They looked like boys.....but they fought like lions".

We are putting this last "Fire Brigade" item into the 'Stable Belt' Department.
