This is the Plaque for one of those 'behind the scenes' units which did such good work backing everyone up. "Quartermaster's Comment":- Being based at the Air Force Base in Cape Town they had quite a job backing up the South African Defence Force during the 'Border War'. This item is in nice condition......see the photo.

As with the previous plaque on offer, these chaps worked as back up during the Border War, but this time from the Transvaal. "Quartermaster's Comment":- I am not sure as to if they ever dropped parachutists but they certainly air lifted the rations. A nicely made plaque, made of good quality heavy wood. See the photo.

This is the second set that we are able to offer, this time to that fine Regiment, The Rhodesian African Rifles. "Quartermaster's Comment":- Another in the "Air Mail Gift Series" which was made locally....Rhodesian Copper....for sale to raise "Comforts" for the lads out there in uniform. The badge, as you can see from the photo, has a small "Vanity" Mirror to the right.
