A WW 2 GROUP OF FOUR TO A CAPE MALAY
Our Private M 13756 J. BENJAMIN comes with copies of all his Service Papers. He came from Goodwood in the Cape and served with the S.A.E.C.
His 8th Army Clasp is REAL and NOT a Copy but his Papers indicate that he got a British Defence Medal which is lacking. "Quartermaster's Comment":- He joined on the 5th of February 1941 and was finally discharged as Medically Unfit in 1947. He served 'Up North' in the IMC and was later moved to the SAEC. |
