A SOUTH AFRICAN NAMED TRIO FOR WW2 TO A 'NATIVE'.
E-mail
If it be possible, one would think, that in this day and age, a bit of research would be good news!!!
Here we simply have a World War Two Trio of Defence, War and Africa Service Medal to a 'Native'. They have been sitting for the last 50 years in a box somewhere. Michael has logged them as being E F......There are NO dings, nicks, knocks or scratches!!!
"Quartermaster's Comment":- Each Medal is clearly named:- N 11061    I. MASIA.
By virtue of the Defence Medal......Our young Pte Masia must have gone up North to give a hand......The only other alternative is that he was sent to give a hand in Madagascar. Hence our feelings that research would be good news???
