We have here three full pages which give us the complete war of Gunner Stanley Owen DREDGE who came from Estcourt in Natal.

He was born on the 18th of February 1923 and was an Apprenticed Motor Mechanic when he joined as a Gunner with the 4th Heavy Batty.of the South African Artillery on the Bluff in Durban on the 13th of May 1941.
"Quartermaster's Comment":-  After a transfer to Walvis Bay on the 26/4/42 he was later posted to the 43 Light AA Regt. S.A.A.F. Port Saul. Thereafter he had postings to FC/CTH SAAF Coy......The 44th Inf Btn. SAAF. We have here a very complete record of his war spread over three full pages. His Medals come with their original issue packets along with a photo of the man!!!
