Thomas Knight Attested at Roberts Heights on the 17 of May 1916. When asked if he had served or was serving in any Military Force in the Union Defence Force he said NO.
He was given the No. MT 2147 and later transfered to the S.A.S.C.
Both his medals are simply named to DVR. T. KNIGHT S.A.S.C.
He served in German East Africa but appears to have got Malaria badly there.
He was finally discharged at Robert's Heights on the 6th of October 1917.
He was noted to be permanently unfit for further War Service. German East Africa. |
