It does rather look as if these two medals were the ONLY ones as were issued to Driver J.KAMPSHALL.

Before you e-mail us.....having seen the photo.......we can see what has almost certainly happened here. KAMPSHALL almost certainly NEVER wore his medals.
When they finally arrived after the war.......sadly we have NO records......(A dig might be worth while)........His Dear Wife, Mistress or 'Camp Follower' did a sewing job on the ribbons......but got them the wrong way around!!!!!
"Quartermaster's Comment":- From this a close look at the medals finds them in near perfect......if not MINT Condition. The medals are named to him as a Driver in the C.A.H.T.C. on the War Medal and likewise a Driver in the S.A.F.A.on the Victory.
Frankly I doubt that he qualified for a Star and only a dig will uncover this.......which would appear to be his only medals.
