The Silver Cross of Rhodesia was awarded for "Conspicuous Gallantry" and the recipient had a S.C.R. after his/her name.

"Quartermaster's Comment":-  The First of these Decorations was awarded on the 13th of September 1974 and they ran through until the last four were given out on the 30th of June 1980.
