Here we have the Miniature of the C.D.G.which came as the 'Civilian' Award to the Previous Decoration.

A very attractive Medal. In a way you might call this the Civilian V.C or George Cross.
"Quartermaster's Comment":-  I find the design of this medal almost more attractive than the previous one. It was also only awarded twice...to a Mr.Kogler, which was a posthumous award on 14/10/1977 and to a Mr. Scott on the 20/4/79.
