Here we have a Specimen of the Rhodesian Prisons Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.

To the fore we have the Rhodesian Coat of Arms and the wording RHODESIA PRISON SERVICE.......and the Reverse......FOR LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT.
"Quartermaster's Comment":-  The first of these was issued on the 20th of November 1970. See David Saffery's Medal Roll Page 136. They were likewise issued for 18 years of Long and Exemplary Service......Provision by way of clasps was made for 25 and 30 years.
