This Star comes in far better condition than one normally finds.....Have a good look at the photo. It has virtually all of its original finish and not even the slightest 'Ding' to the tip of any of the points.

"Quartermaster's Comment:- I have no more to add except that on close inspection I see that the Medal has been numbered......in the usual place......at the top of the base of the bottom point to the Reverse. It has been lightly etched with the Number 1744......This could have been a form of 'Regimental' Engraving/Numbering.......or it could have been placed there by the owner.
Whatever......It adds a bit of flavour to the Medal......which as has been said is in very good condition.
