A very interestingly named medal to a 1011 SGT. H. DIXON.

This medal is in MINT condition and does NOT look as if it has ever been mounted up for wear. It arrived on a plain slip of ribbon.
"Quartermaster's Comment":- Before I get too many e-mails.......This medal looks to be 'Totally Kosher' as far as the naming goes. There is NO 'R' or are there ANY erasures.
So we say to ourselves.......Who was Sergeant H. DIXON?.........How did he come to have such a low number?.........and to what unit did he belong?
