Quite an interesting little medal to cover odd incidents around the globe where a few Brit Troops were sent in to help sort things out.
"Quartermaster's Comment":- I have to admit that this medal is new to me......Well after my time!!!!!.......They seem to give a different/seperate Ribbon for each incident/campaign. This one appears to be for Sierre Leone.....5 May 2000 to 31 July 2002. It might be quite nice to have......even as a filler......The Medal Year Book talks of Pounds 400/500 for an original......and I am sure that few have, as yet, come out onto the market.......They would be named.
