We are not 100% on this one but one of you 'Fundis' out there will know. "Quartermaster's Comment":- Note the bust of His Excellency Mzee and the Line thereunder...FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA....(Now pronounced differently!!!). An interesting choice in the Colours of the Ribbon!!!

This Medal takes us back to the Second World War where so many lives were lost in the Defence of this great Russian City.

We are told that this Medal is awarded rarely. Apparantly they really mean it when they say Good Conduct. "Quartermaster's Comment":- Note the Silver Plated Finish. I think that you had to do a full 18 years of Unblemished Service to get this Medal. A Very Nice Award.

It is not totally clear as to exactly how many years you had to serve to get this medal.

A well made medal and in this case MINT and still in its delivery packet.

Most decidedly original! A triangular medal! but quite attractive in its own way...and in this case very MINT.
