STANDARD WORLD WAR TWO TIN HAT
This one was almost certainly made in South Africa. The khaki paintwork denotes for use in Italy/Europe instead of the 'Sand' for East Africa and the Desert Campaign. "Quartermaster's Comment":- The three holes drilled at the back point to South African Manufacture as these were designed to take a shade cloth.
