This is the 4th out of 5 Variants to this unit. It is the RARE version with the "RAISED" Electrical Flashes to the centre.

"Quartermaster's Comment":-  As far as Flashes and their design goes to this unit......the only thing that they had going for them was the fact that they wore the same FLASH on Both Arms.......BUT......It must have been fun to make sure that you had TWO of a KIND!!!!!
In Owen we note NO LESS than FIVE variants. For Collectors this is the RARE one with the RAISED Electrical Flashes.......which I must admit that when I first saw it.......I thought it was a bit of 'Barbed Wire'!!!!!!!!
They either had trouble with the maker.......or they just could NOT make up their minds what they wanted........one wonders what the whole story was??????
