We are told that this set of Insignia was worn by the Psychological Warfare Centre and the Special Warfare Centre.

Apparently this Insignia dates from between 1952 and 1962.
"Quartermaster's Comment":- It is interesting to note that the main "A" in the cicle is identical to the Flash as was worn by the United States 3rd. ARMY. This Army was of some fame when taken over by General Patton for the invasion of Normandy when he left command of the 7th Army.
