Here , in very good order, we offer a 1940 Pattern World War Two British Gas Mask.

We have a feeling that this Gas Mask found its way to South Africa during World War Two for issue to troops here and was NOT imported......or brought back as a souvenir from London.......where in 1940 everyone was carrying them!!!!!

What is of further interest is that someone has painted on the "ARMY PROPERTY" Crow's Foot.........along with the Number 159 in black paint.
We shall need to allow for 1500 grams in getting it to you.
There cannot be many of these around today......It was the type of item that was trashed.......as soon as we realized that a "GAS ATTACK" was no longer likely!!!!
