As you can see from the photo this item is in MINT Condition and comes in Two Parts; The Rifle Cover itself and the Carry Sling.

We very rarely come across this sort of gear in a "Brand New" state.
"Quartermaster's Comment":- When full stretched out it measures some 119 cms.......it weighs in at a little over 350 grams. Very well made. As one would expect from something as carried by 'Special Forces' there are NO Stamps/Maker's Marks or ANY identification marks. Michael reckons that it was made for a NON-Folding Stock Rifle......possibly an R 1 or an FN with a Scope. He also reckons that it came out for use in the period 1978 through to 1990. To be honest......I have NOT seen one of these before.
