We have a feeling that these are 'Multi-Purpose' Torches.

They take what looks like standard batteries. They are overall 120 mm and 47 mm in Diameter. Total weight for the pair is around only 100 grams....without batteries.
"Quartermaster's Comment":-  They are made of plastic and have no maker's mark. We are told that they could have been for guiding Aircraft that had landed......Hence the Port and Starboard. Michael also suggested that they were carried in case a Pilot found himself ditched in the sea. He suggested that they might even flash.......This really is a case of 'Over to you out there'.........I am sure someone will e-mail me and put me in the picture!!!!!
