While this is An African Police Note Book...It was actually used by a 5331 S/Sgt Stevens R.K.

While the noble Staff Sergeant penned his name in the front of this 154 Page Note Book, he did not actually get around to recording any crimes......there are a few scribbled notations at the back of the book.
"Quartermaster's Comment":- Note how the corners have been clipped (an old Police trick)......to make it that much easier to get out of ones top pocket.
It was printed by J. D. & Co. Ltd in October of 1956.....with what looks like a run of 30 000. It weighs in at around 55 grams......Is 129mm high & 104mm wide.
