This is a very valuable bit of history--the diaries of Rommel himself. It starts with the campaign in France in 1940, continues with the Desert War and concludes with his last days as noted by Manfred Rommel. "Quartermaster's Comment";- As Liddell Hart the editor of these papers remarks "Who would have guessed that Rommel was as good a Diarist as he was a General?"
