LARGE BRASS NUMERAL BADGE FOR THE FIGURE '5'.
Again this is a case of "if you ever want one you will never find it!!!".
"Quartermaster's Comment":- On close examination I would think that this badge with its two copper lugs to the rear was made as far back as the Boer War and would have been used as a Battalion or Artillery Battery Number. The style of the design indicates WW I or even before. Anyway, over to you out there.
