BRITISH ARMY PROFICIENCY BADGE FOR 'A' TRADES (UNIVERSAL).
With a little help from Colonels William Endley and Dudley Wall it would appear that this is a modern/current proficiency badge as worn by an OR for passing up to 'A' TRADES Standard.
"Quartermaster's Comment":- William says he thinks he has seen this type of badge worn by members of the Territorial Army.
