This was the Chromed Metal (Blue) set of Wings as worn by those who had passed the full basic training as a Parachutist in the Bophuthatswana Defence Force

One of the earlier and better trained and organised South African "Homeland" Defence Forces. Their Parachute Section was Headed up by a German instructor who really put them through their paces. Coming from his own German Parachute Training he even designed the Wings for Bophuthatswana on the lines of the "WINGS" that the Germans used.
"Quartermaster's Comment":- This is the SECOND Version of Wings to that Unit and ran from around 1986 to 1990.
