Whoever decided to set this Collar Badge up as a 'Sweetheart' Brooch and give it brooch fittings chose a Collar Badge with the eagle facing to the right which is the same as the Cap Badge that he wore.
"Quartermaster's Comment":-  S.A.A.F....S.A.L.M.   Almost certainly from World War Two......This badge will polish up very nicely.
