THIS IS THE FIRST TYPE OF CHAPLAIN'S CAP BADGE AS WORN FROM 1914
Colin Owen has this Badge as his No.1094 and as worn from 1914 through until 1939.
Michael Kaplan suggests that this Badge is in fact the same as was worn by British Chaplains during the First World War and also worn by South Africans up to the opening of World War Two and until the South Afrcan Badges came out for them......See Owen Nos 1099,1100 and 1101.
