We have here a good crisp example of this badge....It was worn as both a beret and a collar badge to the Artillery. Note that it has 7 Flames.

The reason why we feel happy about offering this badge as a beret badge is because it has neat 'Lug' Fittings.
"Quartermaster's Comment":-  Of course you will all know that this badge was worn by a host of 'Gunner' Regiments......both as a Beret Badge and a Collar Badge.
Note how 'Gunners' had Seven Flames and Engineers had Nine.
An Engineer friend of mine told me that the reason why this was so was because Engineers burnt better!!!!
You will also know that they have the same motto......"UBIQUE".
The One will tell you that the Motto for them means........'Everywhere'........but for the other means..........'All over the place'!!!!!!!
