With the Motto, "STRENUE", to the fore this Special Forces Badge was ONLY worn by Members of South Africa's 3rd Para Bn. It became OBSOLETE in the mid 1980's. Dudley Wall has this Badge as his No. 4 on Page 49 and says it was worn from 1979 until 1985. "Quartermaster's Comment:"- This item came to me in its mint packet. I only took it out to take the photo!!!
