BRITISH HEADDRESS BADGE FOR THE WORCESTERSHIRE REGIMENT.
The Worcestershire Regiment, The 29th and 36th of Foot, amalgamated with the Sherwood Foresters in 1970. They had evolved from Farington's Regiment of Foot (1694) and Viscount Charlemont's Regiment of Foot (1701) to become The Worcestershire Regiment in 1881. "Quartermaster's Comment":- Note their Motto, "FIRM" as noted on the badge. Difficult to tell but this badge could well have been worn in WW2.
