BRITISH CAP BADGE TO THE ROYAL ARTILLERY
This is the Standard Dark Brass Other Ranks Headdress Badge as was worn by the ROYAL ARTILLERY from 1901 through to 1958. "Quartermaster's Comment":- Note their famous motto "UBIQUE"- Everywhere. This of course is interpreted for them by the Royal Engineers, who have the same motto, as meaning in the case of the Artillery--"All over the place"!!! Nevertheless their guns are their Colours and they guard them well.
