This Badge is in very nice condition and has a slide to the rear.
"Quartermaster's Comment":-  As some of you will know.......This Badge is identical to that of the Durham Light Infantry and the two Regiments contested each other when they were both wearing it when they met each other!!!!
It also came out with Lugs to the rear......but this one with a slide fastener to the rear could well be as worn by our British friends.......Nevertheless it is a handsome badge and The Durban Light Infantry wore it from 1902.
