See our notes on the previous listing. This badge is an Owen No. 991 or 992. A Collar badge to the Intelligence Corps and a 'Direct Copy' of the one as used by the British......BUT, Very South African!!!!!

"Quartermaster's Comment":- I still find these badges highly collectable. They were made to fill a gap for a fairly small unit. Badges from the U.K. were just not available in 1940. Not expensive.
